Buying a home is an exciting but often overwhelming experience, particularly if you are buying your first home. As your REALTOR®, I can help you through the home buying process and assure that you find the right home for you, at the right price for you.

Every homebuyer has a number of concerns, all of which I can help you with:

  • the best property at the lowest possible price
  • the property with the best location, accessibility to local schools, shopping, entertainment, and medical facilities, etc.
  • the property in the best condition and arrange all inspections
  • the property with the least amount of inconvenience to the buyer with the best financing terms and conditions possible
  • the property in the most efficient manner, taking the least amount of time

In short, I will assist you in buying the best property that meets your needs and price currently on the market, regardless of whether it is through the Multiple Listing Service or For Sale by Owner.

Ready To Buy

If you are ready to buy, you will need a buyer's agent. A description of buyer's agency is detailed in the "Working with Real Estate Agents" brochure or I can give you a copy when we meet. Once we review this and determine that my role will be as your buyer's agent, we'll begin the search.

  • Share your goals for the purchase. Is it a vacation, permanent, or investment property?
  • Provide lenders names to seek necessary financing prequalification.
  • Begin search. I will search MLS properties for sale by owner (not on MLS system), and review houses previously on the market to find you the right property…I’m determined.

Once discovered, prepare offer. I will take you through each step of this process so to assure your interests are protected yet balanced with the purchase goal.

Negotiate contract, line up inspections, attorney, financing, and finally…closing!

As a REALTOR®, I am here to help you prepare your home for sale, market your home, and guide you through the sale process to ensure you sell your home within your time frame and get the best price possible.

As your REALTOR®, I will determine the correct price range for your home, point out things you should do to make your home more appealing to buyers, and devise the most effective plan of action. Here are some of the steps we will take to sell your home:


Ready to List and Sell

If you are ready to list, I'll arrange to see the property to obtain the necessary details for a thorough market analysis.

  • Research comparable sold and active properties, make comparisons based on square footage, age, tax records, appreciation patterns, quality, etc to arrive at a suggested market price.
  • Review and sign all necessary documents to list the property with me and RE/MAX Realty Group.
  • Gather all pertinent details of the property; measurements, permit information, septic and well information, POA details, etc. This is used to provide for the MLS listing as well as potential buyers.
  • Enter property into all websites, position signs, secure lockboxes, take photos, create brochures, and begin all other advertising.

Showings begin based on instructions provided.

When an offer is received, I take you through each step of the process from contract negotiations through inspection process to closing.
